The Peshawari chappal is the flat, open leather sandal Peshawar is known for: a broad toe cover, a firm sole and an adjustable back strap. Choose a classic pair, a woven Norozi style or a lighter handmade one.
Buying guide
Three things decide whether a chappal suits you: the size, the style and how you plan to wear it.
Stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, and measure the gap in centimetres. Compare it with the size chart we send when we confirm your order. If you sit between two sizes, choose the larger one: the back strap takes up any slack, and new leather softens with wear.
The classic has a broad cross-strap toe cover and suits formal and casual clothes alike. The Norozi style has a woven or braided upper and looks more decorative. Lightweight handmade pairs are made for long days on your feet.
Wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth, let it dry away from direct heat and sun, and keep the pair dry. A chappal that gets soaked should dry slowly in the shade, never on a heater.
